b) ODL – Open Distance Learning Platform Lances Open Distance Learning platform is an Internet tool aiming to the young local policies development and improvement with a bottom up approach, creating channel of communication between generations. Some of its interactive utilities will be available to all, although it is foreseen the use of a registration form in order to access the platform. Also some of the training modules run in a face to face modality will be available on line, as well as further training material and documentation. Moreover, the ODL learning platform, whose testing phase has been concluded in September 2009, has been also meant as interactive integration to the website. Particularly, it is envisaged to activate, in the second year, either national forums among teachers and trainers directly involved in the training activities, or an international forum, coordinated by a working group of students (starting from the Bulgarian students participating in the public meeting in Sofia) in order to attract young people in the platform too. Therefore, the ODL has been exploited also to maintain a link with the participants of our activities, and in this framework the Italian Scenario workshop participants have started some discussions about: active participation and citizenship education.
